Delta Delta Delta

Epsilon Theta Chapter at The University of Texas at Dallas

Letter from the VP of Membership

Dear Potential New Member,

My name is Olivia Keomoungkhoun, and I am honored to serve the Epsilon Theta Chapter of Delta Delta Delta as Vice President of Membership! On behalf of the ladies of Epsilon Theta, I warmly welcome you to UT Dallas and to the 2017 Formal Recruitment process.

College itself is a daunting and strenuous experience. At times, you may feel lonely, homesick, and as though you are wanting something more. This is exactly what I felt during my first two weeks as a freshman. But just like everything else in life, in order to get the most of something, you must venture outside of your comfort zone and put your best foot forward. This is where recruitment comes in.

Although recruitment is only a three-day process, the end result is so much more than just three days. Recruitment gave me Tri Delta, which gifted me steadfast sisters who embolden me to push myself to be a leader I never thought I could be. Tri Delta is stitched together by girls who aspire to be engineers, doctors, artists, videographers, athletes, singers, and more. Though these women stem from various walks of life, though they may not share the same color, creed, or background, they radiate an undeniable bond of perpetual friendship. This group of women made me realize how remarkable it is to be part of something special. And I know that I am not singular in this when I say that being part of something special–no matter how big or how small–makes you feel special.

I challenge you to put your best foot forward, to find your home away from home, to discover a sisterhood where you truly belong amongst the four exceptional Panhellenic sororities at UT Dallas.

I encourage you to visit the UT Dallas Panhellenic page for more information, and I look forward to seeing you in August!

Delta Love and Mine,

Olivia Keomoungkhoun
